Yuyi Chang
I'm a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The Ohio State University, working with Prof. Emre Ertin in the SenSE Lab. I am also part of the mDot Center.
I work on wearable and environmental sensing for mobile health, with an emphasis on signal processing, machine learning, and hardware–software systems for sensor instrumentation and data collection.
Research
- Wearable sensing: PPG signal-quality assessment and heart-rate variability estimation from noisy physiological measurements, including weakly supervised approaches.
- Microwave imaging: noninvasive lymphedema assessment using contour-assisted backprojection, deep learning, and UWB radar.
- LiDAR and motion tracking: spatiotemporal processing for vehicle trajectories, Kalman-filter-based motion estimation, and sensor-placement optimization.
